Abstract
This paper presents problems and opportunities of ecological agriculture in Aragón, Spain. With this aim ecological and conventional agricultures are compared as regards their socioeconomic as well as their environmental aspects. As a basis for this comparison, some basic fundaments of ecological agriculture are presented, as well as its accounting cost structure (obtained through field work in Aragón and official databases, as well as data about its consume and distribution; finally, some public action ways are suggested in order to support ecological agriculture opportunities.
